After I bought my Andalusian mare and it took 4 days to get her transported interstate, I had her scoped as soon as possible. She had Grade 3 ulcers in her fore and hind gut. She was treated with Omeprazole. I then attended a online Zoom session from Poseidon, where the Vets recommended I put her on Digestive RP. She has been on it for over a year now, and shows no signs of ulcers, and is healthy and shiny, I use a few of the other products as well, to keep her gut healthy, like the Stress Paste when travelling and the Metabolise as her breed is prone to insulin resistance. I highly recommend Poseidon products.

I got my boy in May 2024 and he had no top line and was covered in old scabs under his belly. Started him on your DEQ with in a month he want to his first clinic for Para Equestrain riders and was looking good now a year later he looks fantastic and my vet asked be said good feed what had I done as he’s put one a good amount of weight and looks like a different horse. My bodie has done so well on digestive RP. He is back to his normal self, happy little man. His coat was shiny before hand but now on RP he is just glowing. My endurance horse completed a 160km race at the NSW State champs over the weekend. We came in 4th, the amazing thing is we improved our time by 4 hours. He ate and drank really well all day. I know all tracks are different, but it's still an amazing time difference. We are typically middle of the pack but we were with the front riders most of the ride. We used stress paste as directed and Digestive RP.

Love this product, it has been a game changer for my boy.
I had tried a few things with my boy, he was rather tense while ridden, and often violently spooking at ghosts, after adjusting/ruling out all the usuals such as saddle/bridle fitting/physio/ulcer treatments etc my coach and I discussed the hind gut, knowing that you can’t scope I decided to test out Poseidon based on all the amazing reviews. I have to say, this stuff has been a miracle worker, Charlie is so much more willing and supple, he is starting to relax his tummy, and his work is consistently improving. I have also taken the supplement out of his feed for a few days just to check, and the spooking came back pretty fast, Disappearing once he was back on it, so, I’m sold! I highly recommend trying it for your horse if you suspect gut issues.

Holly has transformed over a month with the help of Poseidon. I am happy to say I saw enough small positive changes that I have now decided to put all my horses on RP! Carson is an ulcer prone boy and requires ulcer shield every few months unfortunately, however since starting the RP I have not needed another course of ulcer shield this far. He seems to be keeping his condition quite well as seen in that photo I sent you and he has not shown any girthy or ulcer behaviors so far! Thanks so much for allowing me to do this trial, to be honest I wasn’t game to try the RP over the EQ because I wasn’t sure the benefit would outweigh the cost difference but now being able to do this trial, as I said all my horses are now on RP!

Anyone wanting to know how good this product is i have found it to be the saving grace for my QH. Nearly 4 yrs out of work with sore back and cranky and unable to even touch his stomach area particularly bad on right side as he pinned ears back and gave warning bites intermittent temps of 42. Tried 3 different vets had all the blood and urine tests, ultrasound, xrays, adnominal taps and not one vet could find the reason or help him. We are now about to start his 3rd 4kg bucket of digestive RP and hes back in light work being led of my other horse doing 10kms a day and no more pain hes happy and back to his normal self. I am so grateful for this product and the advice given to me by them. Weight or eating was never a issue for this horse hes always held weight.

As part of the research and design phase of our digestive gut health supplement, we initially conducted trials with an early formulation. This formulation was tested on a variety of horses across different disciplines, yielding consistent reports of improvements in condition, topline, behavior, manure consistency, performance, appearance, and stress resilience. Since then, the formulation has only improved, further enhancing these benefits.
Additionally, a separate field study was conducted by Professor Andrew Dart (BVSc PhD, Dip ACVS, Dip ECVS) from the University of Sydney, with a cohort of randomly selected horses. The results showed a remarkable increase in feed conversion, with some horses experiencing up to ninefold increases in weekly weight gain. Yes it is. Like everything with laminitic horses, introduce it slowly, just to be on the safe side. Laminitis can be unpredictable, so slow is always best when adding something new to their diet.
Yes, DigestiveRP can be safely fed to pregnant and lactating mares to support their gut health and potentially also their milk production. It should be fine for foals to nibble on a bit of their mother's feed containing DigestiveRP. However, as there aren't studies specifically aimed at foals for a majority of the ingredients, we can't recommend giving it as part of a foal's feed.
As DigestiveHP includes ingredients specifically designed to address gut health, it should be safe to feed alongside most other feeds and supplements. You may find that with the addition of DigestiveHP and a balanced diet with vitamins and minerals, your horse may not need additional supplements. For example, DigestiveHP contains a good amount of calcium, magnesium and a toxin binder, so if you are already feeding another supplement with those in it, you may find you can cut it out. No need to waste money on over-supplementing.
