My endurance horse completed a 160km race at the NSW State champs over the weekend. We came in 4th, the amazing thing is we improved our time by 4 hours. He ate and drank really well all day. I know all tracks are different, but it's still an amazing time difference. We are typically middle of the pack but we were with the front riders most of the ride. We used stress paste as directed and Digestive RP.
Carson is an ulcer prone boy and requires ulcer shield every few months, however since starting the RP I have not needed another course of ulcer shield this far. He seems to be keeping his condition quite well and has not shown any girthy or ulcer behaviors so far!
