Elizabeth Owens

With over 40 years as an equine nutritionist, feed researcher and advocate for equestrian riders, Elizabeth has worked tirelessly to educate and promote better ways to feed and manage horses across all levels of equine care and ownership.
Elizabeth began her career as an Equine Nutritionist after graduating with a degree in Agricultural Science (with honours) from the University of Western Australia. She has since worked across multiple aspects of the industry, including working with equestrian and performance horses at the AIS, and as the Chef D’Equipe to the Australian Dressage Team at the World Equestrian Games in 2014.
Currently, as the non-executive Director of Equestrian Australia, Elizabeth strives to further the voice and importance of performance riders and the equine industry in Australia.
